3-book lot consisting of first edition or advance reading copies of the 1990, 1996, and 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction-winning books, one of which is signed (Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love), another of which has a signed bookplate (ARC of Independence Day).
1. The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love signed first edition, first printing: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, New York. Publication Year 1989. First Edition, First Printing, as designated by "First Edition, 1989" printed on copyright page. A fine, signed hardcover copy, orange cloth covered boards, orange cloth covered spine with gold lettering. Book is square and solid, spine is tight. Very minor wear on bottom board edges from shelving. Not ex-library, no previous owner markings, book plates, or remainder marks. Author signature only on title page in black ink. Near fine dust jacket, not price clipped. Top edge of back flap has minor tear, bottom corner of front flap bent. Rubbing on covers from shelving. Encased in protective dust jacket cover.
2. Independence Day by Richard Ford, advance reader's edition signed on bookplate: Alfred A. Knopf, New York Publication Year 1995. Advance Reader's Edition. First Edition, First Printing as indicated by First Edition printed on copyright page. A near fine, softcover advance reader's edition copy in wraps (identical to artwork on dust jacket cover). Book is square, spine is tight. Minor rubbing to bottom page edges, bottom corners slightly bent/flared. Signed by author on white bookplate affixed to half title page in black ink. No dust jacket, softcover.
3. Tinkers by Paul Harding, first edition, first printing: Bellevue Literary Press, New York. Publication Year 2009. Softcover First Edition, First Printing as indicated by First Edition and full number line beginning with 1 printed on copyright page. A near fine, softcover original copy in decorative wraps.
